About The Band
We are The Swing Effect. A swing band that feature some of the best jazz musicians in the UK.
Between us, we have performed at the most prestigious music venues and hotels in the country, and the biggest cruise liners in the world!
We usually perform as a 6 piece band, but, we can also come as a jazz quintet, quartet, trio and duo.
Our band-line up is is adaptable to whatever is going to suit your event most.

We come with the promise to get you and your guests dancing and on your feet.
As well as bringing the life and soul to your party, we will work very closely with you right from the very beginning, not only providing bespoke arrangements of songs you love for your first dance, ceremony or party, but also guidance and inspiration every step of the way.
The Swing Effect is not just a party band, it's an experience you will never forget.
Our Vibe
We swing our way through the best of the 1920's with well known classics such as 'Summertime' and 'The Way You Look Tonight' to songs from Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Arctic Monkeys and more - think modern popular music played with an old-time jazz feel.

Our Repertoire
The time and effort we put into creating our set lists is of great importance to us.
Everything we perform for you, has been arranged by our co-founder and Double Bass player Tom.
This means our bespoke arrangements of classic jazz standards and swing tunes, to the postmodern jukebox style songs, are completely unique to us.
